Profits used on innovation
J.C.H. Ellehammer's business-minded son, Hans Ellehammer, and
his wife, Edith, set up the J.C.H. Ellehammer Foundation in 1986.
Since the foundation's two founders had no heirs, the foundation
inherited from them when the longest-surviving owner of ELLEHAMMER
Laboratorium A/S, Hans Ellehammer, died in 2004.
With the Ellehammer Foundation as its owner, the modern
ELLEHAMMER has a high degree of independence as a company. The
objectives of the foundation include the development of technical
inventions and the support of projects for the public good. So
ELLEHAMMER spends a lot of the profits from its business on
innovation and product development. This means that ELLEHAMMER's
current and future products and technology represent the most
outstanding in the field.
