From 120 HP to 1400 HP

ELLEHAMMER emergency fire pumps are used as safety installations in gas tankers (LNG) and converted tankers used as storage vessels at oil fields (FSO) or as production units (FPSO). They are typically used as back-up for a fire ring, where 3-4 ELLEHAMMER emergency fire pumps ensure that the water pressure does not fall should the main system fail.

Emergency fire pumps from ELLEHAMMER are supplied as electric or diesel-driven pumps. They are available in many sizes, from a four-cylinder engine that delivers 120 HP and pumps at 70 m3/hour, to large machines with 12 cylinders and a capacity of 38 litres which deliver 1400 HP and can pump more than 2000 m3/hour at a pressure of 12 bar.
