Bronze resists corrosion
The simplicity of the ejector, which has no moving parts, makes it
suitable for a large number of sucking and pumping jobs in marine
installations. It is mostly made of bronze, which resists
corrosion, and the simple construction allows the fluid being
sucked up to contain particles and fibres. The ejector needs no
lubrication or maintenance and can be placed quite close to the
fluid to be pumped, so avoiding the need for long pipes and hoses.
Ejectors can create an almost total vacuum.
